WOW! I have had this for about 20 years and I bought it from a collector who personally drove it to the Antiques Roadshow to have it appraised. It’s from somewhere between 1900 & 1920 and is a complete set. There is rust dust on the reindeer and paint wear as you would expect. This set is very heavy but it does come apart at each set of 2 reindeer. Each set is held to the next with a nut and bolt, there was a set missing but my husband replaced it with a new set which is pictured. I would assume that this had string reins but they are long gone, an easy fix with chain, ribbon or string. The only other issue is that each deer has a piece of wire that attaches to the wheel, some are missing but unless you’re using it as a pull toy, it isn’t a huge deal, again, an easy fix. Considering the rarity of finding this as a complete set, the minor issues aren’t too big of a problem. I did try to photograph any areas where a question might arise but certainly feel free to ask any questions.
